TEACHERS & STUDENTS
The heart of connecting classroom is the learning and service relationship between a teacher or adult mentor and his/her class of students. The lessons, dialogue, research and decisions made between teacher and students determine the goal and objectives of each of your initiatives.
Once decisions about goals and objectives have been reached, the teacher and his/her students seek to extend the circle of theirconnecting classroom community by gaining supporters. Supporters are individuals or groups committed to helping a connecting classroom community achieve its service objectives. They offer practical guidance, assistance or resources. This may involve volunteering or helping to organize major events, supporting a fundraising objective or connecting your community to important resources. Supporters are an essential part of a connecting classroom community. Without supporters, your initiative may not develop the energy or resources necessary to reach its objectives. Supporters include students, parents, educators, local citizens, local service organizations, sponsors and our Board of Directors
